Nodes are basically meeting points of various issues, and serve as a way of organising things to make them easy to access.

nodes operate in a similar way to wikipedia's portals - as a starting point for a category, from which other pages are linked, and basic information is given. Nodes shouldn't really contain stand alone information, but link to it in article pages instead.

So far, nodes have just be created as they are needed or thought of. this is probably a good way to continue for now.
